Lori Smart, President of SmartATI Construction, was nominated to serve in a Membership Position for the Society of American Military Engineers Piscataqua Post. Lori Smart accepted the position during their 23rd Annual Education and Mentoring Fund Golf Tournament Event on July 22, 2016.

The primary pupose of this fundraising event is to provide scholarships for deserving local engineering college students, SAME summer engineering camps for deserving local middle and high school students pursueing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curricula, and for STEM programs, including the UNH Tech Camp for middle school students.
